Hereby we invite you to the second Young Psychiatrists meeting focusing on exchange of knowledge and experiences between colleagues from the countries of Eastern and Western Europe.
The organization committee decided to continue with the appreciated mixture of lectures, workshops, poster presentations and study visits similar to the first conference in Vilnius. As a response to the evaluation of the Vilnius conference and suggestions from colleagues on the internet group we also wanted to provide for case reports that will give us the opportunity to discuss similarities and differences in assessment and treatment based on our national and cultural backgrounds. The
scientific focus of the meeting will deal with personality disorders. Another focus will lie on coercive measures and legal systems in different countries, addressed by lectures and a poster exhibition where we would like our international participants to present their national mental health legislation/compulsory measures in theory and practice.
We are very happy to inform you that Professor Norman Sartorius will arrange his well-known Leadership and professional skills developement course for 15 Young Psychiatrists from 2-5 April 2011 in collaboration with the Young Psychiatrist Network.
